An interesting article and a fantastic aerial photograph of the recently built Stony Startford Bypass Channel on the River Great Ouse, which was designed by Fishtek and delivered by the EA.  Further pictures and information about the design can be found in our 24th March news update (https://www.fishtek.co.uk/news.php?page=CgkIBRjg3dyezCoQr8HftqXN8pJ1). The photograph clearly illustrates the benefits of using a ‘rock throttle’ at the channel entrance in order to create a high velocity jet of water that is attractive to migrating fish.
