Current weather conditions and predictions for a wet winter are causing some consternation at the moment in the Fishtek office, as we are still involved in plenty of site work, admittedly most of it out of the river channel itself, but in areas that can still be influenced by high water levels.

We are currently working on a fish pass design and build as part of the Exeter Flood Defence Scheme, the overall job being delivered by Kier. Our role is the design, fabrication and installation of the fish pass that is being installed on the side-spill weir, at the upstream end of the flood-relief channel. As the build progresses, we will add photos of the construction, as well as keeping our fingers crossed that the weather behaves at least slightly!
