With so much interest and effort being spent trying to help populations of eels recover, we are currently carrying out a lot of work designing, fabricating and installing eel passes. Most recently, a pumped eel pass was designed and installed for the Zoological Society of London on a gauging weir at Mogden sewage treatment works. A few pictures of the installed pass are below.
