The fish pass on the River Teme that was commissioned by Severn Rivers Trust has now been completed and is awaiting final sign-off from the Environment Agency. The build went smoothly and the final fish pass has been finished to a very high standard.

Currently, the area looks a bit ‘sparse’ as a result of the works, however once the area has been seeded and the vegetation has grown back, the pass will blend back into the surrouding area and provide a highly effective route upstream for the various fish species in the River Teme. A couple of pictures of the finished pass are given below. The top picture is of the downstream end of the fish pass, including the entrance. The lower picture is the of the wall and hand-railing along the lead-in channel to the pass.
