Another of our fish pass designs has recently been completed. We have been working on this project for a little over a year and the construction team (Kier) have recently finished the work. The site is on the River Welland this fish pass now opens up over 30km of habitat at the top of the river – a great achievement!
The pass is a combination Larinier/eel pass and pre-barrage fish pass and is designed to enable the upstream migration of a wide range of fish, including trout, coarse fish and eels. A few pictures of the final finished fish pass are below.
